Domain Name Regulations and Governance

Please note that during the domain name transfer process, each domain name will be audited to ensure it is in line with the .au Domain Administration Rules.

In the event, that a domain name is not in line with .au Domain Administration Rules, a Change of Registrant request may need to be completed.

Please note that a Change of Registrant comes at a cost to the value of how many years you wish to hold the registration for.
If there are a whole number of years (1 year, 11 months = 1 year) left on the existing term of the Domain Name, then those years will be passed on to the new Registrant. This means that the expiry date will be changed to 1 year from date the CoR is completed plus any whole years that were remaining.
